Director & Senior Occupational Therapist
About me
Hi, I'm Tori Thomas. I'm an Occupational Therapist and a Director at Four Point Therapy. I am very passionate about client centred practice and creating a space where both clients and therapists feel supported, understood, and looked after.
Background & experience
I've worked as an OT for several years, building experience across a wide range of clients and settings. My approach is holistic, functional, and strengths based, and I really enjoy helping people build confidence, independence, and routines that make everyday life feel more manageable. Over time, I've also found a real passion for improving the systems and processes that support therapists. I love finding ways to make the work smoother, clearer, and more sustainable so people can focus on what they do best without burning out. Balancing great client care with a healthy, realistic workload is something I feel strongly about.
My role at FPT
As both Director and practising OT, my role blends clinical work with the behind-the-scenes pieces that make a practice run well. Clinically, I take a very client centred, evidence informed approach — working alongside people at their pace, focusing on what matters most to them and supporting them in ways that feel achievable and meaningful. Operationally, I look at how we can support therapists to do their best work while maintaining a good work–life balance. This includes refining processes, improving workflows, and helping build a culture where people feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
What I love most
What I love most are the small, meaningful changes — those moments where something clicks for a client or a therapist feels more supported in their role. Seeing progress, connection, and confidence grow in everyday ways is something I find incredibly rewarding. I also find a lot of purpose in shaping a workplace that feels positive and sustainable. Helping both clients and team members flourish is truly what motivates me.
