Behavioural Support Practitioners

At Four Point Therapy, our passionate Behaviour Support Practitioners play a vital role in our commitment to delivering impactful Allied Health services.

These Practitioners are central to our work, expertly developing evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support Plans to improve quality of life, minimise restrictive interventions, build autonomy, and foster positive environments by deeply understanding the reasons behind challenging behaviours.

Crucially, Positive Behaviour Support is closely integrated with Psychology. By combining psychological expertise with PBS strategies, specifically the development of Behaviour Support Plans (funded under the NDIS line item "Specialist Behaviour Intervention Support") delivered by our Behaviour Support Practitioners, we ensure a comprehensive, consistent approach that addresses both the underlying causes and practical management of behaviours, supporting long-term, meaningful outcomes."

We work in partnership with Participants, their families, and support teams to deeply understand the reasons behind challenging behaviours.

Through evidence-informed strategies, create Positive Behaviour Support Plans with the core aim of:

  • Improving overall quality of life
  • Minimising or eliminating restrictive interventions
  • Building essential skills for increased autonomy
  • Creating more secure and nurturing environments

Guided by compassion, acceptance, and integrity, and in full adherence to the NDIS Practice Standards, our tailored plans are delivered with the individual's unique needs, aspirations, and situation at the forefront, whether through in-home, in-office, or telehealth support.
