Wondering about Functional Capacity Assessments in NDIS?

We thought we'd provided an overview of what an FCA is, why they're important and how our team of Occupational Therapists at Four Point Therapy can help.

What are they? Functional Capacity Assessments evaluate an individual's abilities in various areas like mobility, communication, and daily living skills.

How many hours are needed & why? At Four Point Therapy we recommend 15 hours. Typically, these assessments take a few hours to thoroughly evaluate the individual's capabilities. It's crucial to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness in understanding their needs and abilities.

What are they used for? These assessments help tailor NDIS plans to suit the specific requirements of Participants, ensuring they receive appropriate support and funding.
